Vhaerun Ultrin,
"The Beast", "The Forsaken","The Cursed", The Vampire. Vhaerun became a creature of the night at an early age, young enough to hide it to a certain extent, he lived within the little village of Dahgen, it took many years of deceit and lies to keep this creature at bay, for none knew of his "dilemma" other than his mother, who helped him remain a secret for so long. The Villagers thought nothing of it, not thinking that the missing cattle or sheep had any correlation with such a quiet, charming boy, who grew into a young man within that village. His mother became ill as he grew more powerful, she realized she had assisted in creating a monster, from this fear and horror she turned him in, and accused her son whom she protected for soo long. The Villagers were at his door within an hour after his mother returned for "getting some air" their pitchforks and torches, burning with the flames of fear and hatred. From this attack and sense of betrayal, he unleashed his true power, he became the beast. The Villagers of Daghen were all slain that night, and were burned to make it seem as though orcs did the deed, Vhaerun raided the many homes of his once friends. By morning the village was destroyed and Vhaerun was gone. He felt the guilt and sorrow of his friends and family's deaths, the fact that he commited these deeds caused him even more pain. He could no longer control his lust, for blood, power, and death. He roamed through the woods in search for some of his kind, finally he found fellow Vampires. They brought him Undraeth, a sort of stronghold or camp for his kind. When they discovered his feelings toward being a vampire, for he saw it as a "Curse" instead of a "Blessing" like the others, they soon threw him out of Undraeth. He barely survived that last encounter and returned to roaming the woods, with no purpose in the world then to keep himself away from all he could. One night the Moon seemed to glow a little brighter, and the skys a little clearer, it called to him, and he listened. Vhaerun followed the moon to find his unknown destination. The Moon brought him to The Temple of Namheroth, Abernathy The Keeper of the Temple greeted him and showed him the teachings of Namheroth, he placed his faith within his new god to help him contain the Beast within him, and to use it for Good.
